Therapy that Sees the Whole Picture

Because life doesn’t fit into a formula — and therapy shouldn’t either.

Life can feel heavy. The world asks so much, and sometimes it leaves you quiet, restless, or unsure of your next step. You don’t need to carry it all alone.

Welcome to a space grounded in dignity, self-determination, and the belief that people carry resilience and strength even in the face of hardship. Support isn’t about quick fixes. It’s about slowing down, being seen, and discovering steadier ground beneath you.

I work with those navigating anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, and more — but above all, I work with people in the fullness of their lives, honoring both personal experience and the broader context of the world around them.

Andrew Wilton LCSW

Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Western New York

I have devoted much of my professional life to understanding how people live, connect, and grow. Before social work, I studied architecture and urban planning, drawn to how structure and community shape the way we live. Over time, I came to realize my true focus wasn’t buildings, but people: how they navigate challenges, adapt, and reclaim themselves after hardship.

Nearly twenty years in social work, human services, education, and research have reinforced my belief in human dignity, resilience, and resourcefulness. I have studied many schools of psychotherapy, not to collect techniques for their own sake, but to honor a truth at the heart of this work: every person is unique, and support cannot be reduced to a single method.

Those who work with me often describe my style as calm, thoughtful, and grounded. My approach is reflective, collaborative, and encouraging—steady, considered, and always rooted in the belief that you hold more wisdom than you may yet know.

Support for Life’s Challenges

Therapy that meets you where you are.

People seek support for a wide variety of reasons. Some are seeking relief from anxiety, depression, or stress. Others are managing life transitions, juggling responsibilities, or trying to strengthen relationships.

Common areas of focus include:

  • Anxiety & Fear

  • Depression & Disconnection

  • Stress & Burnout

  • Life Transitions & Adjustments

  • Relationships & Boundaries

  • Self-Esteem & Identity

Whatever brings you here, therapy can be a place to pause and gather strength. Together, we’ll make space for the complexity of life, while also looking toward what’s possible.

You’re not alone and you don’t have to have it all figured out before you begin.

Empowering Individual Therapy

Every person is different. Every story is layered.

I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all therapy.

Instead, we’ll adapt our work to your needs, your life, and what matters most to you. Sessions are collaborative, conversational, empowering, and paced at your comfort. My style is integrative and eclectic, drawing from time-tested and evidence-based perspectives while remaining culturally-sensitive and responsive to your unique context.

  • Centered on you — your individual goals, pace, and lived experience.

  • Attentive to both inner life and the larger context you live in.

  • Rooted in respect and curiosity, never assumption or judgment.

  • Guided by the belief that strength lives within every person, even when it feels out of reach.

Above all, therapy here is about connection: creating a steady, supportive place where change can take root.
